How to Restore Deleted Movies from a USB Flash Drive?

Question
I had several movies stored in a USB flash drive. To save some space for my new movies, I deleted some old ones. Now I regret and want to recover those deleted movies, do you have any good ideas?

Answer
To retrieve deleted movies from a USB Flash Drive, you may need the following stuff: a Macintosh computer and a program named Photo Recovery for Mac. This special software is able to restore deleted movies on Mac as well as USB digital media drives. That's to say, when you hook up the flash drive to the Mac, the software can scan and recover all deleted stuff such as photos, music and movies for you.

Here's the process of flash drive recovery.

Step 1: Download, install Photo Recovery for Mac, connect your flash drive to the Mac, then launch the program. In the user interface, all disks are shown as below.
Select file type and disk
The tool can recover one, two or three file types from Photo, Music and Video. We need to un-click Photo and Music options because only Video restoration is needed here. Choose the flash drive ( e.g. my flash drive named "ASH") for scanning, click the Next button for next step.

Step 2: The program is reading sector. Depends on how many video files had been stored and then deleted, this step usually ranges from minutes to hours.

Step 3: When step 2 is done, all deleted movies can be found and shown on the left side of program. Now select movie files you need for recovering by clicking Recover button. Choose a path to save these files. We strongly recommend that you save these restored movies on another disk, otherwise the deleted videos in your flash drive could be overwritten.

This is how I restore flash drive videos. How about you?
